'Pastel Meadow' Curated Cutting Garden

A curated collection of 50 plants for your cut flower garden, chosen by Rachel because they are "in season" and ideal cultivars to grow for bouquets and floral arrangements.

All of these cool-season annuals are easy to grow, cut-and-come-again flowers that we have grown before and love. The “Pastel Meadow” Curated Cutting Garden will begin blooming in January, and continue churning out blooms through May.

CCG Pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 7 at Rachel’s house in south City Heights, San Diego. Address will be emailed one week prior. If you can’t pick up on 11/7, email Rachel to schedule a different day: Psalterfarmflowers@gmail.com.

Each tray includes focal flowers, secondary flowers, and accent flowers to add sparkle and interest to your bouquets and arrangements. 

Our Pastel Meadow tray includes 2-10 plants each of:

  1. Anemone ‘Carmel White’ (Anemone coronaria)

  2. Iceland Poppy 'Champagne Bubbles White' (Papaver nudicaule)

  3. Silene 'Blushing Lanterns' (Silene vulgaris)

  4. Phlox 'Creme Brûlée' (Phlox drummondii)

  5. Calendula 'Pacific Apricot Beauty' (Calendula officinalis)

  6. Didiscus 'Lacy Lavender Blue' (Trachymene coerulea)

  7. Hybrid Snapdragon 'Potomac Berry Blend F1' (Antirrhinum majus)

  8. Strawflower 'Silvery Rose' (Bracteantha bracteata)

  9. Bachelor's Buttons ‘Pinkie’ (Centaurea cyanus)

  10. Statice 'Hipster Apricot' (Limonium sinuatum)

Please note, there are no returns or refunds on a tray once purchased, but they are transferrable to a family member or friend.

You must pick up your tray (or send a delegate to do so) on 11/7, or your tray will be donated to a neighbor. If you’d like to reschedule your pickup for a different day, email Psalterfarmflowers@gmail.com.

Plants will come in a 50-cell tray that can be reused later in your garden to start seeds. When planting your cutting garden, use a butter knife from the kitchen to gently lift the plants from their cells. We recommend that you put your plants in the ground, or pot them up into larger pots, within one week of receiving them.

All of these flowers can be planted 6-12 inches apart in your garden, contingent on how much space you have available. Depending on your chosen spacing, one tray will require anywhere from 10-50 sq. ft. of growing space.
