This is my own seed mix of very-early flowering lavender sweet peas. This mix also includes periwinkles, which is why I’ve chosen the name, ‘Lavender Shades.’ It’s nice to be able to cut for color palettes that lean lavender and purple, and also others that lean blue. Likely a mix of Sweet Pea ‘Winter Sunshine Lavender’ and Sweet Pea ‘Winter Sunshine Light Blue.’
Very-early flowering sweet peas bloom with as few as 10 hours of daylight, making them ideal cultivars for warm climates. Here in SoCal, we seed our very-early flowering sweet peas on October 1st and they bloom January-April.
